A lovely orange from two of our most trusted growers, the Notre Orange leans on the dried fruit and earthen aspects that characterize some of the world's great orange wines. Opening with notes of dried yellow flowers, a touch of apricot, and some orange skin, the palate is mineral, and medium-weighted, with present, food-friendly tannin.

A superb pairing option thanks to its tannin and moderate fruit intensity, pair the Notre Orange with intensely seasoned dishes like blackened catfish with remoulade, Tandoori chicken, or marinated leeks with mayo.

A classic wine from a classic winery nestled high in the hills of Kamptal, the Ruhewinkel opens with deeply-spiceed notes, and the classic appealing green apple character of Grüner Veltliner. On the palate, the wine is a ball of kinetic and potential energy, with distinct mineral tension, an array of different fruit flavors, and a taught, mineral finish. This is a wine that will show many different sides as it ages, but it's drinking fabulously now.

A great match for something intense and Austrian like a pork schnitzel, or somethin gfrom neighboring Hungary like a spicy chicken paprikash, the Ruhewinkel's vegetal quality makes it a great match for something green like cooked cabbage and caraway seeds, or asparagus and hollandaise.

The Pinot vines for this wine were planted after Thiago, the winemaker, returned home to Portugal after oenology studies in Oregon where he fell in love with the grape. The wine opens with trademark Pinot notes of cherries and soft herbs, while on the palate, these fruits are confirmed in a tart, refreshing form.

Both great as an aperitif and as a gastronomic rosé, the Magnético will pair very well with vegetarian appetizers like gazpacho, or pan con tomate, or light protein like grilled shrimp.

Opening with precise notes of golden apple, lemon curd, and just a bit of crème brulée, the Daurat presents immediately as a classic reserve cava. On the palate, the wine is lively, welcoming, and expressive, with a touch of weight, and lively, tiny bubbles.

A perfect aperitif, the Daurat will be quite nice beside richer seafood dishes like Shrimp scampi, oysters kilpatrick, or for the vegetarians, marinated leeks with mayo and hazelnuts.

A mineral red from one of our most trusted growers in Beaujolais, the Côte de Brouilly opens with notes of cherry, strawberry, and graphite. On the palate the fruit is both rich and tart, with a subtle, yet memorable earthen finish.

Nothing beats Beaujolais and a burger, though this wine has enough subtlety to match with lighter, nuanced proteins like salmon sorrel, croquettes, or wild mushroom soup.

One of our favorite wines year-over-year, the Entouré de Roches comes from a very special, especially rocky vineyard in Bourgueil. Opening with tantalizing notes of red plum, cherry, and even a mote of citrus peel over an abundance of earth, the palate is soft, yet dense, with the same red fruits shining, and a softly tannic, earthen finish.

Cabernet Franc will always be one of our favorite pairing wines thanks to its versatility, though we always gravitate towards French fare when dreaming up pairings. Enjoy this medium-bodied red with a whole roast chicken and potatoes, pâtés or mousses of all stripes, or even a cheese board with many different varieties of fromage.
