2023 l'Archetipo Humus Intenso

Tasting Notes

As it’s name suggests, the l’Archetipo is an olive oil of real intensity and verve. Citrus peel and pith definitively waft from the glass, on the palate, the oil is rich and expansive, with a spice character that begins warm, and escalates to some real peppery heat, finishing with more citrus notes, and great acid.

Food Pairing

When enjoying the “Humus Intenso,” aim to make the olive oil the star of the dish. Pane e Pomodoro, bread with tomato, is what l’Archetipo suggests first, though we know this olive oil will shine in simple salads, or drizzled generously on every conceivable cut of beef off a wood-fired grill.
