Welcome to 2024 with our new Extra Low Alcohol Collection. Why extra low? In the US, high alcohol is celebrated, but one glass of big, oaked wine can sour the next morning. We’ve traveled the globe in search of a unique luxury: deliciously extra low-alcohol reds and whites. While all our artisan wines are low, these are a bit extra. Live a little this January, and indulge in luscious extra low alcohol wines.

2022 Biddizza Rosso IGT
Tasting Notes
Wines from Sicily, particularly from the slopes of the active volcano, Mount Etna, have been growing and growing in popularity over the years. One thing is certain: you can taste the rich, raw, volcanic soil in every sip of the Bidizza. Opening with dark fruit with a whiff of smoky earth, the palate is mouthfilling and rich, with nervy, food-friendly tannin in the finish.
Food Pairing
A wine of this intensity but lightness invites pairing with bold flavors on subtle protein: think shrimp with chili oil, blackened fish, or an extra-smoky Baba Ghanouj.

2022 Hoch Family Fruit & Love - Red
Tasting Notes
A great example of how expressive a low alcohol red can be, the Fruit and Love opens with notes of ripe black raspberry, and a touch of purple flowers with just a whiff of smoke, while the palate is direct and pure with fresh berries on the palate and a touch of balsamic.
Food Pairing
With less alcohol comes less of a need to pair with food! The fruit and love will be exceptional as an apperitif, but will also do well with appetizers like marinated eggplant, fried squash blossom quesadilla, or charcuterie.

2022 Weingut Herbert Zillinger Foxy
Tasting Notes
It's incredible that a wine with only 9% of alcohol can have this much character. Opening with notes of white flowers with some strong mineral elements, the palate is brisk, with just a touch of fresh white peach.
Food Pairing
A perfect aperitif wine, this will also be lovely beside light cheeses, quiche, or raw veggies and mediterranean dips.

2022 Craig and Carla Hawkins Mielie Green
Tasting Notes
Opening with a vintage nose of honey and wet stone, this trademark Chenin from the Hawkins has layers and layers of flavor. The palate attack begins with ripe golden apple with slaty mineral elements, moving to a finish that's brisk but not too intense.
Food Pairing
The classic pairing for Chenin is goat cheese, and this will do well beside this and other tart cheeses. It's an ideal aperitif, but has enough body to match lighter seafood appetizers too, like scallop crudo, or sashimi.

2022 Hoch Family Fruit and Love - White
Tasting Notes
A great example of the virtues of blending, this wine takes the zip and energy of Grüner and melds it wonderfully with the florals and body of Gelber Muskateller. On the nose, it's both mineral and fruited, while the palate is brisk, with nice fruit weight, and a crisp, bright finish.
Food Pairing
A lovely aperitif, the Fruit and Love will also do very well with light cheeses, tomatoes with remoulade, or a tartare of salmon or scallop.
