Like many voices in harmony, this red grape’s core elements are distinct, and each their own: tart red fruit, a touch of grapefruit peel, and a hauntingly-light whiff of turned clay. There’s simply nothing that matches this ancient grape for its effortless grace, nuance, and intriguing depth, and this bottle from one of our favorite wine ateliers in the Loire is another victorious entry in our Pineau journal.
