2023 Pech d'André Trois Nuits d'Alicante
Tasting Notes
Alicante Bouschet is one of the most unique grapes in the world of wine - will almost all red grapes actually have white juice, alicante's juice runs as red as the wine's skins. This almost-inky edition from Pech d'Andre though, has both delicacy and power to offer, after being blended with the vibrant Cinsault grape. Opening with a nose of fresh herbs, mint, and decadent red fruit, the palate is muscular and intense with rustic tannins, a rich core of red fruit, and a long finish.
Food Pairing
An ideal steak wine, this rustic red is a great companion to all manners of rich, substantial fare. Enjoy beside a braised lamb shank, a stuffed chicken ballatine, or a rich mushroom risotto.

2023 Tenuta Gracciano della Seta Rosso di Montepulciano
Tasting Notes
Opening with vintage Italian notes of dusty earth, and dark, intense red fruit, some fresh, some dried, the palate is a lesson in texture, with smooth red fruits on entry, mouthfilling weight, and a light, tannic finish.
Food Pairing
A fabulous wine to pair with traditional Italian fare, it will be right at home beside a white ragù over pappardelle, a biftek Fiorentina, or something more French like a roasted duck breast with cherry jus.

2023 Chateau Landra Pulchra Durmiens
Tasting Notes
Opening with distinct notes of farm-fresh blueberries, dark flowers, and just a whiff of smoke, the Pulchra Durmiens really comes alive on the palate, with the same blue fruit present, but also more raspberry, and some meaty Syrah elements. With tense acidity, and a firm, food-friendly finish, it's a wine that will do well with a variety of fare.
Food Pairing
The bold Pulchra Durmiens is an ideal pairing partner - big enough to stand up to the meatiest proteins, but light and expressive enough to let more delicate fare shine, it will be ideal beside roast poultry or pork with lots of spices, seared red meat with wild mushrooms, or a meaty vegetarian preparation like mushroom risotto or bolognese.
