2022 Château Coulonge Cuvée Émile

Tasting Notes

Although the Sauvignon Blancs from the Loire may be more well-known today, the first celebrated Sauv Blanc in the world was from the warm, maritime soils of Bordeaux. Opening with distinctive tropical aromas of lychee and passionfruit alongside a touch of herbal green, the palate is bright, full-fruited, and refreshing, with a taut mineral finish.

Food Pairing

A fabulous aperitif, the Cuvée Émile will do very well beside herbaceous seafood preparations like ceviche, cod with parsley sauce, or a flavorful tabbouleh.
