2023 Weingut Schwedhelm Alter Schwede
Tasting Notes
The "Alter Schwede," opens with distinctive notes of lemon oil, herbal, anise scents, and a touch of wet stone, the palate is brisk, but with enough weight and depth to keep things interesting, concluding with a nuanced, mineral finish.
Food Pairing
A lovely aperitif, the "Alter Schwede," will shine beside dishes that showcase herbs and vegetables like asparagus with béarnaise, tabouleh, or a classic bouillabaise spiked with plenty of fennel and saffron.

2023 Chateau Jarr Lot 64 Rosé
Tasting Notes
A classic rosé from one of Bordeaux's first organic wineries, the Château Jarr opens with notes of pink grapefruit, underripe cherry, and a touch of green peppercorn, moving to a refreshing palate with the same fruit, and a bit more fruit weight than most rosés, but a superbly refreshing finish,
Food Pairing
A lovely aperitif, the Jarr Lot 64 will do well on its own, or beside light appetizers like shrimp cocktail, marinated leeks, or razor clams with aioli.

2023 Ariotti Barbera
Tasting Notes
A Barbera from one of Monferrato's hallmark producers, the Arrioti opens with a lush perfume of roses, violets, fresh and cooked cherries and berries, moving to a palate with the same fruit and the addition of a compelling brickish, earthen component, and concluding with a brisk finish thanks to Barbera's trademark acidity.
Food Pairing
Perfect with a plate of rich, meaty ragù over papardelle, the Arrioti will also do well beside a plate of seared lamb chops, or a smoky baba ghanouj with pita or crudité.
