The Wines...

2023 Domaine de la Cotelleraie Touraine Sauvignon Blanc
Tasting Notes
This Touraine Sauvignon Blanc is a classic representation of its terroir, and even smells a bit like the nearby Atlantic. Aromas of zesty citrus, freshly-cut grass, and sea air greet the nose. On the palate, it shines with vibrant acidity, delivering flavors of crisp green apple and grapefruit. A quintessential example of Touraine Sauvignon Blanc, refreshing and true to its heritage.
Food Pairing
The zestiness of this wine makes it a great partner for seafood - enjoy it beside a tuna or swordfish steak with rosemary, a salmon tartare, or a plate of lemony grilled vegetables.

2023 Le Fay d'Homme Hymne de Melon
Tasting Notes
Vincent Caillé of Le Fay d'Homme is a true master of the Melon grape, having worked and lived with it for most of his life. The Hyme de Melon showcases the Burgundian minerality and ripe citrus that only the best Muscadet exhibits, moving to a crisp palate with the same layers of lemon and mineral, with a bright, glassy finish.
Food Pairing
The classic pairing with Muscadet is a plate of raw oysters, and the Hymne de Melon will certainly sing beside half-shells, although, the wine is broad enough to stand up to other cooked seafood preparations like grilled lobster with chili butter, or scallops simply seared with butter and fresh herbs.

2023 La Staffa Verdicchio
Tasting Notes
A superb example of one of Italy's lesser-known, albeit very dynamic, white grapes, the Verdicchio Superiore from La Staffa opens with a heady nose that combines salty seabreeze, gooseberry, lemon pith, and just a kiss of white peach. On the palate, the wine's playful dance between weighty citrus and stonefruit, and zippy minerality makes for a very satisfying sip.
Food Pairing
A Mediterranean wine, no doubt, enjoy the Verdicchio beside fresh seafood, either raw or simply cooked, a fillet of chicken with a lemon caper sauce, or broccoli rabe with pecorino.
