The Wines...

2023 Montgilet Rosé
Tasting Notes
A fresh and floral rosé from the Loire, the Montgilet opens with intimations of dark flowers, ripe strawberry, and a touch of fresh herbs, moving to a palate with great lift and delicacy and the same full fruit notes.
Food Pairing
A lovely wine to have outside on one of the early days of spring, all on its own, the Montgilet will shine beside gazpacho, poached shrimp with chili oil, or pan con tomate.

2023 Chateau Landra PUR Jus Rosé
Tasting Notes
A rosé of real class, the Pur Jus is a mélange of tart fruit, herbs, and a kiss of wet stone. On the palate, the wine's greatest asset is its brightness, complementing the above notes, along with a crisp mineral finish.
Food Pairing
A superb aperitif to open up the appetite, the Pur Jus will also do very well beside fresh appetizers like cucumber salad with chili oil, scallop crudo, or a cool gazpacho.

2023 Domaine de Matin Calme Rosé de Loire
Tasting Notes
Cabernet Franc is one of the great wine grapes of the world, but one of the best rosé grapes. Its combination of dark fruit with herbal brightness makes its rosés hedonistic, yet nuanced. The Matin Calme, or calm morning, opens with lively notes of cherry and raspberry along with dewy grass, while the palate is fruity, full, yet restrained enough to keep this wine refreshing, with a soft, bright finish.
Food Pairing
A great gastronomic rosé, try the Matin Calme beside lighter appetizers like scallop tartare, asparagus with sauce gribiche, or just on its own.
